Area of focus
I work primarily with adult women, supporting them through life transitions that are often deeply connected to gendered experiences—like marriage, becoming a parent, navigating career changes, or adjusting to changes in their bodies over time. These shifts can bring up a lot, and I help women move through them with greater self-compassion.
I also enjoy working with college-aged and young adult women as they begin to explore who they are and what they want from their relationships and lives. In our work together, we focus on building healthy boundaries, understanding their needs in dating and relationships, and unpacking how early family experiences may be influencing them today.
I strive to create warm, compassionate, and grounded therapeutic space where women feel safe to be themselves. I welcome and have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic and sexual minorities. At the core of my approach is a deep respect for each client’s inner wisdom and capacity for growth.
I have over ten years of experience, including a background in working with women seeking safety from abusive relationships at a Domestic Violence Shelter, as well as families and individuals recovering from addiction in an Intensive Outpatient setting.
Today, my work is profoundly meaningful. I walk alongside women in their healing journeys, bearing witness to their resilience and supporting them as they reclaim safety, strength, and self. I often end my days feeling inspired, humbled, and deeply grateful for the trust my clients place in me.
The most meaningful part of my work is witnessing clients heal and recover from trauma. Many people begin therapy feeling stuck, longing for change but unsure how to move forward. Through the foundations of safety, a supportive therapeutic relationship, and the powerful tool of EMDR, I’ve seen clients not only find relief from symptoms but also begin to transform the negative core beliefs that have held them back. It’s a privilege to witness that kind of deep, lasting healing.
My hobbies include reading, traveling, watching sitcoms, and spending time with my two dogs Frasier and Daphne. My favorite self-help books are Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, Daring Greatly by Brene Brown, and The Depression Cure by Stephen Ilardi.
