Through relational therapy, you can experience freedom from the cycles that keep you stuck and step into a fuller, more meaningful life.

Who is Eating Disorder Therapy For?

Eating disorders can impact anyone, but it often stems from deeper emotional and relational patterns. Our therapy is designed for individuals who feel stuck in exhausting cycles with food and body image and are ready to explore the root causes of their struggles.

Why Eating Disorder Therapy at Mend Center for Psychotherapy

We offer more than quick fixes, we help you make lasting, meaningful change by addressing the deeper emotional roots of disordered eating.

Rooted in Relational Healing

Our therapists use relationship-focused therapy to explore how early experiences and attachment patterns have shaped your relationship with food and self-worth. Healing happens in connection.

Trauma-Informed and Depth-Oriented

We don’t skim the surface. Using psychodynamic, EMDR, and attachment-based approaches, we guide you through understanding and transforming the unconscious patterns keeping you stuck.

A Path to Wholeness and Self-Compassion

Our goal isn’t perfection, it’s integration. We help you build self-awareness, self-trust, and a more peaceful relationship with your body, allowing you to reclaim joy and aliveness in your life.

Our Approach to Eating Disorder Therapy

We use depth-oriented, relationship-focused therapy to help you move beyond surface-level symptom relief and experience meaningful, lasting change.
Relational Psychotherapy
We believe healing happens in relationship. Together, we’ll explore how early attachment patterns and relational experiences have shaped your self-image and relationship with food.
We’ll gently uncover unconscious patterns and hidden emotional wounds that contribute to disordered eating, helping you gain deeper insight and lasting transformation.
When appropriate, EMDR can help process trauma and emotional blocks that fuel disordered eating, reducing distress and promoting more freedom in your daily life.
By building emotional awareness and security, we support you in creating a more compassionate relationship with yourself and fostering healthier connections with others.

Eating disorder therapy at Mend Center for Psychotherapy isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about building a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself, your body, and your emotions.

Why Work With Mend Center for Psychotherapy

You're not a problem to fix, but a story to understand.

At Mend Center for Psychotherapy, we believe therapy should go deeper than symptom relief. Our work is rooted in the belief that many of the challenges people face, anxiety, disconnection, trauma, burnout, stem from unspoken pain, relational wounds, and unseen patterns. These aren’t signs of weakness. They’re signs of something important needing attention.

We specialize in in-depth, relational psychotherapy that helps bring those hidden parts of the self into awareness, to help you feel more alive, more connected, and more fully yourself.

Our therapists are trained in psychodynamic, attachment-informed, and trauma-focused modalities. We work with people who’ve tried therapy before but didn’t get the depth or clarity they needed. Whether you’re facing a major transition or a quiet sense that something isn’t quite right, we help you understand your inner world so you can move through it with clarity and compassion.

Healing takes time, courage, and the right support. We’re here when you’re ready.
