Area of focus
I work primarily with adult women, supporting them through life transitions that are often deeply connected to gendered experiences—like dating, marriage, becoming a parent, navigating career changes, or adjusting to changes in their bodies over time. These shifts can bring up a lot, and I help women move through them with greater self-compassion.
I also enjoy working with college-aged and young adult women as they begin to explore who they are and what they want from their relationships and lives. In our work together, we focus on building healthy boundaries, understanding their needs in dating and relationships, and unpacking how early family experiences may be influencing them today.
The most meaningful part of my work is witnessing clients heal and recover from trauma. Many people begin therapy feeling stuck, longing for change but unsure how to move forward. Through the foundations of safety, a supportive therapeutic relationship, and the powerful tool of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I’ve seen clients not only find relief from symptoms but also begin to transform the negative core beliefs that have held them back. It’s a privilege to witness that kind of deep, lasting healing.
I have been in practice for over 11 years and work with a wide range of concerns. I regularly work with clients struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, grief and loss, PTSD/CPTSD, and sexual assault.
Additionally, I have specialized training with the founder of Attachment Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR), a type of EMDR that treats childhood and complex trauma. I am a member of both the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and the Parnell Institute.
